Corralejo, which was once a small fishing village, has now grown into a lively colorful town.
Luckily, Corralejo has managed to retain its original charm and atmosphere, and there are still white sandy beaches in the town center, where you can ‘drop down’ and soak up the Canarian sunshine.
Most of the shops, bars, and restaurants are along the main street of Corralejo which leads right to the music square and to the harbor, from where you have a nice view to the islands Lanzarote, Lobos, to the other side of town and to the sand dunes. With its pulsating nightlife,
Corralejo is also the centre of the north if you want to go out and party.
This town is the perfect place to check out the varity of surf spots, that you can find along the east, north and west coast just a few minutes away by car.
